My name is Oliver Hawksworth, 45 years old and a Rising Stars 2 coach for Swansea Aquatics.
My life has been spent in the water as both a competitive swimmer from a young age into my teens and a lifelong and competitive surfer. I have been a surf coach for 25 of those, up to elite level, leading and managing England Juniors and GB surfers.
I have worked to understand all aspects of fitness and coaching to support my pathway as a coach and have found myself back in the swimming world with my daughter Frida taking a similar journey, this has ignited a spark to coach in the swimming world also. I hope to provide all the fundamentals our younger swimmers need for their own journeys in their swimming careers.
